Climate change will affect agriculture in the Baltic Sea region in many ways. The expected warmer climate in Northern Europe will have an influence on crop production, animal husbandry as well as on the natural flora and fauna. Many pests and diseases will also become more prevalent on both animals and plants. These issues will be presented and discussed at the seminar in Uppsala. The session topics include climate change and its effect on crop production, crop protection, agricultural soils and animal production in the Baltic Sea region. Keynote speakers at the seminar will come from Denmark, Estonia, Kenya, UK, Latvia, Sweden, Germany and USA.
