On May 19-20, 2011 at the International Sakharov Environmental University (Minsk, Republic of Belarus) the 11th International Scientific Conference “Sakharov Readings 2011: Environmental Problems of the XXIth Century” will be held.

1. Social and ecological, ethical and pedagogical problems in concordance with A.D. Sakharov’s ideas.
2. Medical ecology.
3. Bioecology: bio--monitoring, bio-indication, bio-remediation.
4. Radioecology and radiation safety.

6. Ecological monitoring, management and audit.
7. Renewable energy sources and energy saving.
8. Climate change and sustainable development.
9. Regional environmental problems: environmental state, use of natural and resource potential (will be held at Belarusian Research Center “Ecology”).
