BUP Students' Conference on Climate Change and Human Rights
November 14–18th 2009
Gniezno, Poland

This is the third major conference in the BrightClimateFuture series of events that are addressing the three interconnected challenges of climate change, strained ecosystems and persistently high levels of global poverty. The aim is to collect innovative ideas and build a network that can move our region forward towards an attractive, sustainable and fair future.

At the November 2009 conference we will look at the human dimension of climate change and discuss how climate change affects human rights in the Baltic Sea Region as well as in other parts of the world. From that understanding we will discuss opportunities for us to meet the challenge of climate change in a way that preserves human rights and allows for poor people to improve their lives.
