BUP teachers and contact persons may now apply for participation in the upcoming BUP Rectors' Pre-conference Meeting that will be held in Uppsala, 17 - 18 February 2011 by filling out and submitting the BUP Rectors' Pre-conference Meeting form.

BUP Students' Conference on Environmental Management Systems
We would like to welcome BUP students with a direction of studies including EMS or an interest for EMS to a BUP Students' Conference on Environmental Management Systems that will take place in Ostrava, Czech Republic, on November 24–28, 2010.
The conference will be arranged by the BUP secretariat at Uppsala University in cooperation with, and with substantial financial support from, VSB-Technical University of Ostrava, Czech Republic.

SAIL 2010 Photos
See some photos from this this year's SAIL course and cruise on board the Bulgarian sail ship STV Kaliakra. The voyage started in Bremerhaven, Germany and ended in Barcelona, Spain. Stops under way were done in Saint-Malo, France and Lisboa, Portugal.

EHSA Conference 20-21 September 2010
This conference brings together a small group of leading scientists and educators from North America and Europe in a 3-day conference on the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign campus to present and discuss new knowledge and international developments in key areas of ecosystem health and sustainable agriculture, particularly as pertaining to the Baltic Sea region in Europe and the Upper Midwest, Great Lakes, and St. Lawrence River regions of North America.
