Energy Futures - changes in lifestyle, policy, security, technology
The Baltic University Programme will cover all expenses for the participants during their visit in Rogów in connection with the conference (accommodation, full board, bus trip Warszawa-Rogow-Warszawa, trip to Lodz included).
Travel costs will be the responsibility of the participants and their universities. Centres and teachers are kindly asked to advice and help students to find financial support for their travel costs. However there will be a possibility to apply for a travel grant from the Swedish Institute and have travel costs partially reimbursed at the conference.

BUP Research Seminar
HAW Hamburg is hosting in Hamburg the "BUP Research Seminar" on the 25th-26th May 2011. The aims of the Seminar are:
- to identify research areas where BUP Universities have strong expertise and are able to compete in attracting EU and international funding;
- to cluster the expertise in thematic areas, with a view to forming powerful and attractive Consortia to bid for project funding;
- to agree on a work plan with future calls for projects, where BUP universities can take part.
Project Leader and PhD Student
Novia University of Applied Sciences in Raseborg, Finland is seeking applicants for two positions, one as Project leader and one as PhD-student for the project Green Islands.

A seminar to be held in Tallinn, March 16, 2011.
AIM
We claim that the role and potential of local actors in the Baltic Sea protection work is highly important and extends wide beyond the local borders. We aim to promote an exchange of practical experiences in problem solving and provide inspiration and ideas for further work.

It raises the role of culture as one essential element of sustainable development. Through example and commitment different actors inspire to change their practices and working culture into more sustainable ones.
