Education and Cultural Change

ECER 2010ECER 2010 “Education and Cultural Change”, European Conference on Educational Research, Helsinki, Finland, 23 - 27 August 2010

EERA, the European Educational Research Association and the University of Helsinki invite educational researchers to participate in and to submit proposals for the European Conference on Educational Research 2010, in Helsinki, Finland.

The conference theme “Education and Cultural Change” will provide a focus for the keynote addresses, for other invited events as the EERJ Roundtable and may also be taken as a reference within the conference sessions organised by the EERA networks.

However, proposals for contributions are welcome from all fields of educational research. Participants are invited to hand in up to two abstracts for papers, posters, workshops, round tables and symposia. All proposals must be handed in electronically via the online submission form. Ph.D. students and New Researchers are especially invited to participate in the Pre-conference by submitting proposals to Network 21, the Emerging Researchers’ Network.

The ECER is the annual conference held by the European Educational Research Association (EERA). It welcomes more than 1,500 scholars each year, representing views and research traditions from all parts of Europe and also attracting researchers from other parts of the world.

Please note that unlike in previous years ECER 2010 will take place in August not September.
